Livingston School District Media Center Additions
Livingston, NJ
Voters in Livingston approved an $18.2 million school referendum in March 2013 to fund various projects throughout the school district. The referendum included 14 new elementary school classrooms and numerous ADA upgrades to Livingston High School. However, the centerpieces to the referendum were new media center additions at Collins, Riker Hill, and Harrison Elementary Schools.
“Livingston residents take great pride in their public schools, and they made a long-term commitment to their excellence by the passage of this referendum,” said Dr. Brad Draeger, Superintendent of Livingston Public Schools. The new media centers bring parity to the district's schools by creating modern amenities in three buildings currently with libraries more than 50 years old. Like their counterparts in the other three District elementary schools, the new media centers now have sufficient space for large group instruction and access to technology. |
